Influenster Sugar 'n Spice Voxbox 2013

hey everyone, I know it's been a while since I have done a blog. But I was lucky enough to receive yet another Voxbox from Influenster. This site is amazing. I have been lucky enough to recieve 3 boxes now and have been happy and pleased with all of these products that I have received. Most recently I received the biggest box I have had. It was filled with products from great companies with great products.

I have been lucky to test all the products and they are all amazing. I personally love the Dickinson's witch hazel wipes. They are great and have helped my skin. The Colgate products are all amazing! And hey who doesnt love a new toothbrush! hhehehe :)

Hey ladies and gents...and all blog spot fans and viewers. So I was on my favorite site of all time Youtube. Checking out a beauty guru called Makeupjunkiie18 when I came accross a new video she had posted about a website called Influenster.com which is a site which sends out various products to people based on reviews and feedback given on their website. So of course you know it gave me my motivation back. I had been looking for an opportunity like this and now I have found my groove which is why I am finally writing this new blog. I know I know its been wayyyyyy to long since I posted a blog about anything but be sure to check back because I have some stuff to catch up on and do some more posts especially of my special birthday I had this year with all my friends from Australia here in Vegas and also about all the beauty stuff which i have been trying out. I also need to update my beauty facebook page so that will be happening too. But for now this is just a short post about the cool website I found. I really hope I get chosen to have a voxbox sent to me for product review because I feel like influenster is just what I have been looking for, it's a great opptorunity and I'm taking it... Thanksgiving day....

Hello my beautiful friends! I wanted to do a short blog about my Thanksgiving day and what I did today...

To start off my day I woke up and started to prepare the food that hubby and I were going to feast on for the evening. Our menu of delictables included:- Mac N Cheese, Collard Greens, Mashed Potatoe and Honey baked Ham! And how could I forget dessert....Banana Walnut Cake! Ohhhh, I'm soooo full just thinking about it!

To begin it was only us 2 so we didn't want to go all crazy with food since we knew we would have left overs for days. The Mac N Cheese came out delish, even if I do say so myself...considering it was my first attempt at making it from scratch! The hubby baked the ham the night before and made the collard greens today... OMG can I just say the collard greens were sooooooo bomb!!! So yummy!!!!

Okay, now on to the fun part of the evening!....

While hubby prepared to dish up the food, I went and got ready. I actually did my hair and make up really really fast which is not normal for me! Although when I do every day make up I usually spend 10 mins and i'm out the door! I decided to put natural curls in my hair with my hair straightner...which worked out perfect! I also decided to go for a festive fall color - Red! I didn't go too dark on eyeshadow or blush, kept it quite neutral on the eyes and cheeks and then decided on a bold Red lip!

Here are a few pics I took this evening of my make up and end result! I hope everyone enjoyed reading this and had a Happy Thanksgiving! I myself am very grateful and thankful for everything I have in my life and couldn't ask for anything more! Hmmm maybe a couple of other things but i'm definitely thankful for what I have now.

Also, just a side note - I used my Nikon D5100 SLR camera to take these pics... I experimented with a few of the settings so I hope you all enjoy! Please post a comment below if you would like me to do a tutorial on how I achieved this look.

A new beginning...

So after a lot of consideration, thinking and wondering about all my endless possibilities I thought to myself....why not????.... I'm talking about why not create a blog so I can write and show all my viewers about my life and my adventures and experiences I go through....

I have watched hundreds of videos of beauty gurus and they have all totally inspired me and now I am a true believer of anything is possible with a bit of hardwork, time and dedication...ohhh and of course how can I forget...money...LOL You do of course have to be willing to spend a tiny amount of money for all those luxuries us ladies like to purchase.

So my first post is just an introduction about what this blog is going to be about and I hope that everyone will check out my Youtube channel and click on my first video at the bottom of this page and also please don't forget to SUBSCRIBE to my Youtube channel!!!!

A little about myself is that my name is Ayesha pronounced (A just as the letter sounds and then -sha, Ayesha) I was born and raised in Australia and moved to The United States in December 2008. I am happily married and am also an only child. My Mother is Filipino and my Father is Australian = making me a, Mestiza (us filipina's like to use Mestiza as a description of a filipina mixed with another nationality). I moved to Las Vegas to live with my husband who is American (dont worry you'll see him in some of my video's and some of my photos, he's going to be my right hand man in this journey of creating videos and blogs)
